I personally emailed the Cavalier resort and here are more activities that can be done during the day for the young ones:
“We have all-day activity rentals, which include metal detectors and bicycles. We will also have a craft hour on NYE around 2pm. Other than that, we also have indoor pools, and there are many local family friendly attractions nearby.”

Thank you for the helpful information, but I am not sure it is quite accurate. I was interested in the party at the Cavalier resort, and in the FAQs, it says that you must be 21 to attend the party. Are there any resorts or hotels that have family friendly New Year’s eve event that you are aware of?
Lynesha, I want to personally thank you for letting me know about the incorrect information I provided. I was using old info and have now updated with the correct information. My personal recommendation would be to check out The Westin at Town Center, VB. It is in walking distance to the “Last Night On The Town” New Years Eve party at the fountain that is more friendly for kids. Lots of places to eat and stores too. If you would prefer to stay at the oceanfront, La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham is one of my top picks because it includes a continental breakfast which the kids would enjoy. You could always visit the Cavalier and enjoy a dinner package before 9. Thank you for reading my blog!
