Are you someone that loves taking the kids outdoors during the summer and need ideas on where to take them? How about Virginia Beach’s own local farms!
We are so fortunate in this area to have our pick of so many different things to do and this is just one of many things on a great big list! Check out more ideas here.
What I also like about visiting these farms is that it’s also benefiting small business owners and hopefully we can keep these farms for a long time to come. We try to buy a local as possible to do my part to help our local economy.

Final Splash
Going to one of our local farms here in Virginia Beach is a great way for kids to get out and enjoy nature and create core memories with the family.
My kids love having contest who can get the biggest strawberries or the biggest blackberries and then enjoying the “fruits” of our labor later in the day.
Virginia Beach is such a unique place that has farms, the beach and city life all within 30 mins of each other! So cool!
